Beldibi Cave
Beldibi Cave, located just at the exit of the Çamdağ tunnel on the Antalya - Kemer road, is also a shelter under one floor. Beldibi Cave, located at an altitude of 25 meters above sea level, is the second important Prehistoric Center of the Antalya region. The cave is an archaeological site that is always open to local and foreign tourists.
The cave, in which the best finds belonging to the Paleolithic, Metolithic and Neolithic ages were found, is one of the natural formations worth seeing within the borders of Antalya province. Today, since the interior of the cave has been damaged to a great extent due to natural destruction, the filling layers have been dragged away by rain water and winds. During the excavations in Beldibi Cave, a total of six layers containing Mesolithic cultures were identified, and flint tools belonging to the Upper Paleolithic and Mesolithic periods were found. On the walls of the rock shelter, there are schematized pictures of humans, mountain goats and deer.
